    Introduction

The Mini team was founded in 1987 for the purpose of preparing young swimmers (ages 4 to 8) for the regular swim team. During practice, the swimmers will be instructed on body position, kicking, correct arm strokes and other techniques. Mini Team graduates have been outstanding swimmers on the team.

Mini team swimmers are invited to join in all of our fun social events and Pep Rallies!

    Mini Team Policy/Procedure

The Mini Team will be organized each season into several skill-level groups by the coaching staff. During the season, the coaching staff will continue to assess skills and swimmers move between the levels throughout the season.

The only prerequisite is a willingness to put your head under the water. Practices will be 30 minutes in length. Mini Team swimmers who demonstrate readiness will be provided the opportunity to advance to the 8 & under practice if they choose.

Please review the information below and choose the level that best reflects your swimmer's ability.
