Equipment - Main Team

Swim Suit: Team suits are available to purchase from Suit Up.  Please see the Team Store tab for information on how to purchase. The team suit is a two year suit, so it will be used for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.  If you buy it this year and your child outgrows it by next summer, it will still available to purchase next summer. Suit try-ons are available at Suit-Up at University Mall. If your child does not wish to wear the team suit, please have them wear a swimsuit that is NVSL compliant to practices and meets. See https://www.mynvsl.com/file/31237/2019_NVSL_Swim_Rules_with_Terminology_and_Definitions_pdf

Water Bottle: Always a good idea for swimmers to stay hydrated during practices. Please send your swimmer with a filled water bottle.

Goggles: Please have your swimmer try their goggles on prior to practicing in them.

(Also recommended to have a second pair in case one becomes lost or broken)

Swim Cap: Swimmers will be provided a latex team cap for meets upon payment of season registration fee. Silicone caps will be available for purchase.

Additional team caps can be purchased from Team Reps or Team Volunteer Coordinators throughout the season.

Any cap can be worn during practices.

Swimmers shall not be permitted to compete in swim caps which include the name or insignia of any team other than their NVSL team per the NVSL Handbook.
